We value the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with your animal in order to provide the kind of specialized care for which the Veterinary Health Center is known. Many times, animals will be here all day (or even multiple days) while diagnostic testing and treatment are performed. The clinicians treating your animal can give you a rough idea on the duration of the expected visit. Please feel free to leave the Veterinary Health Center to enjoy a coffee, meal, snack, shopping trip or fun experience while here in Columbia. Below you will find some information on places to eat and unwind while you wait for your animal’s appointment to be completed. Additionally, you will find information for pet-friendly hotels and places in Columbia where your dog can enjoy a walk. Some of these options may have variable hours during the pandemic, so you might want to call ahead and check.
