In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, the University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center will be open for emergencies only from 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, until 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27.
The Small Animal Hospital will accept any patients with life-threatening illnesses and injuries from 6 a.m. to midnight throughout the holiday weekend. Due to temporary staffing shortages, the Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Service will only treat current Veterinary Health Center patients between midnight to 6 a.m.
The Large Animal Hospital will remain open for emergency cases 24 hours per day throughout the weekend.
