At the MU Equine Ambulatory Service, our mission is to provide the highest standard of medical and surgical care to our patients while training the next generation of veterinarians. Serving the greater Columbia area for more than 20 years, our three veterinarians and three rotating veterinary interns supply quality routine and emergency care to horses of all ages and disciplines. Three fully stocked trucks allow for on-farm care within a 35-mile radius of the university. Services are offered by appointment from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 24-hour emergency service is available.

- Upper airway endoscopy
- Routine breeding management

- Field surgery: castration, laceration repair, enucleation (removal of a disease eye)
- Ophthalmic exams
- 24-hour emergency care
