What if my pet only requires sedation?
Sedative drugs and analgesics may be used for some animals without general anesthetic agents. This type of management is usually reserved for short and relatively minor diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Our plan for sedating your pet will depend upon the procedures being performed and the special needs of your pet. In addition to sedative and analgesic drugs, it may also include local anesthetic agents and other supportive care. Your animal will be assessed during the sedative period to ensure its well-being.
