Our board-certified theriogenologists offer state-of-the-art reproductive services to a variety of dog breeders, including breeders of show dogs, hunting and field trialing dogs, coon dogs, herding and other working dogs. The following services are offered routinely by appointment:
- monitoring of bitches for the optimal breeding time with on-site progesterone testing
- on-site testing for brucellosis
- all forms of artificial insemination with fresh, shipped or frozen semen, including endoscopically guided transcervical inseminations, surgical insemination and vaginal inseminations by Mavic catheter
- ultrasonographic and radiographic pregnancy examinations
- semen collection and evaluation
- chilled and frozen semen shipping
- semen freezing and storage of frozen semen
- epididymal sperm harvesting and freezing from deceased dogs
- elective Cesarean sections
- management of male and female dogs with reproductive disorders
Many clients come from neighboring states and farther for our theriogenology services. Referrals are welcome but not required.
