Giving to the Comparative Internal Medicine Laboratory

The Comparative Internal Medicine Laboratory needs your financial support to fund cutting-edge research to help animals with a variety of medical problems and to train the next generation of veterinary scientists.

Past gifts have helped support studies with significant impacts on the health of animals and people. Some of these include:

  • New and better treatments for feline asthma and chronic bronchitis
  • Improved treatment of immunologic disorders such as immune-mediated hemolytic anemia and immune mediated polyarthropathy
  • Better management of endocrine disorders including diabetes mellitus
  • Better options for the treatment of bobcat fever, sepsis and ehrlichiosis
  • Studies of the immune response to cancer
  • New and effective preventive treatments for equine laminitis

Gifts supporting the laboratory can be made in honor or in memory of a special person or pet. Please join us in our efforts to find cures for common diseases in both animals and people by making a donation today.
