Lacy Allee, DVM, graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 with her doctorate of veterinary medicine. She also earned a bachelor of science in animal science from MU in 2011. Allee started her career in a busy mixed animal practice in central Missouri prior to joining the Animal Emergency Center.
Allee is a native of Hamilton, Missouri, where she grew up on a dairy and beef farm. On her days off, you can find her spending time with her husband and two children on their family farm.
George (Renny) Buckaloo, DVM, earned his degree at the University of Missouri. He has been a practicing veterinarian for many years, most recently as the owner and veterinarian at Crysler Animal Hospital in Independence, Missouri, and at the Veterinary Health Center in Wentzville, Missouri.
Brenda Cederberg, DVM, earned her doctorate at Kansas State University. She is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, with experience in mixed animal and small animal practice. Most recently she was the managing veterinarian at Countryside Pet Clinic in Andover, Kansas. She brings 24 years of private practice experience. Her interests include wound surgery and management, orthopedic surgery, abdominal ultrasound, and canine rehabilitation.
Wayne Fry, DVM, is a graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. He is experienced in mixed animal and small animal practice, and is the previous owner and veterinarian at Crysler Animal Hospital in Independence, Missouri. He has 27 years of private practice experience.
Col. (ret.) Mark Gants, DVM, MS, DACVPM, earned his doctorate at Mizzou. He served in the Army Veterinary Corps and worked as a foreign animal disease diagnostician in Plum Island, New York. His Army tours of duty included Vietnam, Kosovo, Germany, Iraq, Korea, Central and South America, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. He received two Bronze Star Medals, Legion of Merit, Order of Military Medical Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, four Army Commendation Medals, and five Army Achievement Medals. Has been in practice in the Kansas City area intermittently for approximately 40 years.
Alba Stavri, DVM, MPH
Alba Stavri is a multiple-time graduate of the University of Missouri. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biological engineering, as well as a doctor of veterinary medicine and master of public health at Mizzou. Stavri completed a large animal rotating internship at MU followed by a private practice internship in Melbourne, Florida, before returning. She has a particular interest in cardiology, but is eager to help clients and pets manage all chronic diseases.
Outside of work Stavri enjoys rock climbing, biking, SCUBA diving, water sports and activities, and playing fetch with her two dogs, Kramer and Leonard.
